Offering dance classes throughout Wicklow, Elevation Dance School strive to offer the very best in Jazz and Modern Theatre dance classes for Tots to Teens.
Modern Dance classes incorporate elements of modern theatre jazz, lyrical and street jazz to promote fitness for fun, while students also have the opportunity to study Graded exam syllabus work from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). Students of Elevation Dance will have the opportunity to perform in the Christmas and annual Summer Shows as well as the having option to take graded exams in Modern Theatre dance through the ISTD.
Our high energy classes are taught in a relaxed atmosphere to help improve balance, flexibility & technique as well as improving social skills, body awareness and confidence with students being given the opportunity to express their own individuality and creativity.
The main aim of EDS is to nurture development and learning in a positive and safe environment.
Classes are available to students from 2½ years of age to Teens and all the way up to Adults. Classes cater for all ages and abilities.
Childhood is an ideal time to enter into the world of dance, a creative and expressive art form, where dance teachers and parents can nurture their development, and implement foundations for strong values such as a healthy lifestyle, socialisation with peers, positive self esteem and development of identity and creativity.
